5. Example 2 - J-band R3K Longslit Point Source

In this example, we will reduce Flamingos 2 R3K longslit observations centered in the J-band of the recurrent nova V1047 Cen.

The 2-pixel slit is used and the central wavelength is set to 1.25 m.

The results from the program’s team were published in Geballe etal, 2019, ApJL, 886, 14.
